EMI REGULATIONS

All electric devices or installations influence each other when interconnected or close to each other. Sometimes you observe interference between your TV set, your GSM handset, your radio and nearby washing machine or electrical power lines.

The purpose of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/ EMI) is to keep all those side effects under reasonable control. EMC designates all the existing and future techniques and technologies for reducing disturbance and enhancing immunity.

Almost all electrical products should comply with the EMC rules in order to meet regulation laws.
This includes almost any Military, Medical, ITE, Machinery, Industriall and Home Appliances electrical products and applications.
In order to sell, ship or enter market barrier products should comply with the EMC rules.

IC – Canada.
EMC Directive – Union Europe.
VCCI – Japan.
CCC – China.
OFTA – Hong Kong.
